This is a great stopover place as you bike through Snell Island. Picnic tables outside help you catch your breath after making your purchases from this friendly, local c-store.

A great neighborhood store with high quality products. All the reviews complaining about no bathroom, all the stores at any mall do not allow use of the bathrooms other than the huge anchor stores. Insurance does not allow patrons to be in the back room where there are hazards like cleaning supplies, equipment etc. Anyone complaining about high prices, a family owned neighborhood store does not get to buy their products at the same low wholesale price a Publix or other store gets due to big box chain sales volume & buying power. If you are looking for quality products and the convenience of not spending $5 in gas and the time wasted finding a parking space at your local big grocery store go to the Islander Market. We love it (great wine & beer selection) and our teenage daughter loves riding her bike there with friends to get a hot pressed Cuban and sweet treats!

We visit the market a few times a week, especially my sons for an afternoon cold drink. Tonight I needed medicine 5 minutes prior to closing. The young man working the store was kind, helpful and I never thought for once that he was anxious to close the store. Appreciate his commitment to excellence!

This place literally has every little thing you need when you forget. Tonight we needed just nutmeg and they had it! Always has the things you need to entertain and not run back into a big store. Love this place!

I grew up in Shore Acres and go back to the late 70s when this place was a L'il General. Over the years it's been a few different markets, always a good place to get something quick in a pinch. I was back in my old neighborhood to see all the old places. And I stopped in the market for a beer and soda. The new place is amazing! It's clean, first of all. Their selection of beer is pretty good. They have a deli but I didn't get anything from it. I think this place is a really great neighborhood market and it's awesome to see its still there after all the LCC (church and school) annexation of the property. Keep up the good work!

my friends and i always come here to quench our thirst. they used to many many drinks for people under 21. it would be great to see them brought back

Islander Market earned a customer for life today in me. We stopped in for ice in the wake of hurricane Helene. Even though they had flooded and were not open for business, they were giving out free ice and coffee donated by Kahwa. It was exactly what we needed. This small act of kindness did not go unnoticed. They truly care about the community they serve and those are the types of business we should support in return. Thank you!

Fantastic shop... So cute and clean!!! It's a great place to walk to for us and offers a little of everything. From a great little wine collection, beers, smokes, groceries and fresh sandwiches to meats to some veggies, even boiled peanuts or coffee. Great place if you're in a pinch. The staff or owner are always friendly and efficient. Really handy and needed in this area as the next closest shops are on 4th. The owner stocks it mainly with local items like salsa and chips yum! Convivence stores are usually pretty boring, and I would say outdated, this place offers a little bit of everything including charm a must place to support for a small business owner. I have also noticed amazon delivery boxes outside and on the weekends, I've seen a smoker so that's my next task lol see what's on the grill :).

I pass this store on my walks. I finally stopped in and love it. Great selections of beer and food and snacks. They take Apple Pay too.
